Not quite a mercenary
I work on a day rate, not hourly. Only electronic payments are accepted, via PayPal, Venmo or credit/debit card. Invoicing is done daily with payment due on receipt. Copyright is released with payment. Larger projects require a written scope of work and a retainer equal to half the agreed fee.
Hours and first contact
I am a night owl. My best work gets done between 8 pm and 4 am. Email is the best way to communicate—and the only way to make first contact. I check email twice each day — at 1 pm and 4 pm. I respond with questions and/or to let you know I am in receipt of your email.
I do not respond to text messages until after we have established a working relationship.
